Topic: life in general
Ok, so now that I've created a blog, I'm not really sure what to do with it. I guess if anyone is reading it, you might want to know who I am, so I can start with that. My name is April, I'm 26 (27 in 30 days) and I live in a small SE Kansas town. I'm an employee of the wonderful world of Wal-Mart (sarcastic? why, no, not me...never) and am expected to be at work in just 6 short hours.

I have an awesome daughter who will be 8 in December, and I am taking on the roles of mom AND dad to her. Which means I am a single parent, if you couldn't figure that out. Anyway, she's my life! When I'm not at work, we're together, except for right now. She's currently spending a week with her great-grandmother, my grandmother, which is something I used to do when I was her age. Our apartment is quiet with her not here, even though she'd be in bed, sound asleep right now if she was.

I'm hoping to use this blog as a way to revive my writing without actually having to work on any of my current ideas. Lol. I have so many works in progress it's a wee bit overwhelming, but I haven't worked on anything in over a year. Hopefully this will encourage me, remind how much I enjoy it, and get my brain active once again. I do plan to post some of my finished works and I hope I can find people to share them with who will give me honest feedback.

Well, that's me in a nutshell. I have a few photos in my album, so here it is if you wanna look. album I'll be adding more pics as I get the time. I guess I'll go for now and get some sleep before my 9 hours in Hell.
